Balance Yoga Studio provides a relaxing, calm and nurturing space to learn and practice the physical postures (Asanas) of yoga, breath work (Pranayama) and meditative practices (Dhyana). With patience and curiosity we bring awareness to your breath and body, and with this awareness, amazing things start to happen! Balance classes are fun and our teachers create classes that are both intelligent and creative.

Mommy & Me
6 Week Series

Join Tonya Salerno for this wonderful mom and baby experience.
This Class is for moms 6-8 weeks post-partum and for babies up to actively WALKING.
CRAWLING BABIES WELCOME!!

Mom and Baby yoga offers mothers a chance to spend time with their babies while improving strength, posture and overall energy. Relaxed Stretching, rhythmic movement and postures focused on rebuilding core strength are combined with songs, scarves and holding babies to create a fun and supportive environment for all. In addition to learning what movements are appropriate for the post-partum body, principles from the yoga sutras will be offered to deal with some of the mental and emotional challenges of motherhood. This class is not only a great way to bond with baby while nurturing yourself but it is also a great way to connect with a community of other moms.

Pre-Registration is STRONGLY encouraged.
A minimum of 3 moms are needed for each class to run.
Rate: $15 per class or all 6 weeks for $75

This is an ALL LEVELS course!!!
Insanity is a revolutionary cardio-based total-body conditioning program based on the principles of MAX interval training. By using MAX interval training, INSANITY pushes the participants to new training heights,resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and more efficient metabolism. INSANITY's interval training is the pinnacle of cardio training. INSANITY requires no equipment and is a fun class. If you aren't afraid to sweat, get motivated, burn calories, and have fun then INSANITY is for you!

KIDS MEDITATION
MAGICAL JOURNEY KIDS is back for another great series!
Offered Monday's & Wednesday's throughout the school year.
3:15pm - 4:15pm Grades K-3 Monday's & Wednesday's
4:30pm - 5:30pm Grades 4-8 Wednesday's
This great class starts with a guided meditation followed by sharing and craft time.
This program runs during the school year and also offered as a Summer camp.

Rate: $85 for 6 weeks Grades K-8 (SAVE $$)

INTRODUCTION TO YOGA

This is the perfect class for you!
We love beginners at Balance! Take the first step and we'll take care of the rest.

 Extensive instruction, hands on adjustments and explanation of poses including benefits and contraindications are explained in this class. Introduction to Pranayama (breathing exercises). After your 8 weeks you will be ready to join other Yoga classes with ease and confidence. Practiced in normal room temperature. 

Core & Restore
Saturday April 26th

​Join instructor Tegan Phillion for this all levels workshop. 
It starts out with some breath work, meditation and grounding. Then the party starts! Using a mix of Pilates, Vinyasa, and core strengthening this class aims to build all of those yoga muscles and bandhas, or “locks”, in a balanced, fun and invigorating way. The class concludes with gentle opening, restorative poses to cool down after all that hard work.

with Goldie Kaufenberg

In this two-hour workshop, 
Goldie will lead you through a dynamic vinyasa sequence 
working towards postural peaks, beginning with pranayama (breath) and gentle asana (postures) to slowly open and awaken the body. She will then build a stronger flowing sequence, stimulating your core intelligence and focusing on each area, in turn integrating the body as a whole. Combining your breath with movement, the creative possibilities are endless. Each posture will be presented with modifications for both the beginner and advanced student, inviting every yogic body. Together, we will learn to refine our practice and move beyond the limitations our minds set for us.

BYS offers a weekly meditation class, every Sunday at 5:30pm with Marie. She teaches you different ways to meditate and helps you quiet the mind and cultivate a meditation practice! This class is part of any Yoga package you purchase, no additional purchase needed!

Have you ever wanted to share your yoga practice with someone else? Partners Yoga is a chance to experience yoga in a whole new way with the strength and support of another person. In this workshop we'll have fun trying out different poses with a partner. This workshop is open to everyone- you can come with a friend, partner, or on your own and we'll partner you up with another yogi. Be ready to laugh, let go, and shift your perspective on what yoga is!
