ALL LEVELS- All Levels is a class designed for everyone, beginners to seasoned Yogi's. Sequences are designed to stretch the body, ease the mind and leave you with a feeling of openness and peace.
New students will develop body awareness, posture alignment and core strength in basic poses, while experienced students are encouraged to explore advanced variations in familiar postures. Everyone works to his or her own ability and comfort level. Warm Room
BASICS- Never done Yoga? Hesitant to try? Basics is the perfect class for beginners or Yogi's looking to get back to Basics. This class focuses on alignment, breathing, the "how-to's" with the physical practice of Yoga. Step by step instruction with lots of love, patience and compassion. Candlelight Flowdown- Join us every Sunday evening at 7pm for a Candlelight Flowdown. Transition into your work week with a stretchy, flowy Vinyasa, followed by a nice and long deeeeep relaxation. This is the perfect class to unwind from a long week, or prepare for the week ahead. All Levels are welcome as modifications are given during the Vinyasa part. Warm Room
Intro to Yoga- (Warm Class) (8 week Series)- Never done Yoga? Think you can’t? Not “flexible”? Can’t “touch your toes?” This is the perfect class for you! Space is limited to 12 ppl in this class. Extensive instruction, hands on adjustments and explanation of poses including benefits and contraindications are explained in this class. Introduction to Pranayama (breathing exercises). After your 8 weeks you will be ready to join other Yoga classes with ease and confidence. Practiced in normal room temperature. First series will begin in January.
Tone and Sculpt- (Warm Class) Combining Yoga poses with resistant bands and light weights is the latest breakthrough in mind-body exercise. Harmonize the mindfulness of yoga with the toning and muscle sculpting with bands and weights. Work on balance, train your muscles and find your center to a mixed sound of today's music. Leave this class feeling energized and strong. Definitely not your contemporary Yoga class! Beginners welcome
Gentle Yoga- (Normal Room Temp) Take it easy and join us for a gentle practice where you can relax, breathe and start to rest your body and mind. Slow moving stretches, easy and gentle flows guide you to a place of calm and serenity. Enjoy a practice with gentle music, gentle stretching and breathing that leaves you calm and focused. Beginners welcome.
Yummy Restorative Yoga- (Normal Room Temp) A delicious way to practice yoga. Enjoy soothing music, lots of props and be spoiled with attention as you move from pose to pose. Feel completely supported as you breathe your way through each posture. Learn different Pranayama (breathing exercises) and postures to help with stress induced symptoms like insomnia, chronic headaches and indigestion. Complimentary Reiki given. Beginners Welcome
Hip Pop Yoga- fun, Fun, FUN!!! Practice Vinyasa style Yoga to Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Reggae or anything that strikes the mood. Sweat, stretch, smile and laugh. This class is really fun and perfect for all levels. Hot Room
Children’s Yoga- Ages 3-5 or Grades 1-5 Please check schedule Kids are natural Yogi’s and enjoy learning the different poses, playing games and learning different breathing techniques to keep them calm and focused. Children learn how to manage stress and become stronger and more balanced. First series offered in January. Email us for more info.
Vinyasa Flow- Vinyasa Flow is a style of yoga where poses are creatively and intelligently woven together with an emphasis on linking breath to movement, leaving you feeling sweet and sweaty! Practitioners of all levels will discover the power of moving with intention and grace. Music is incorporated and playlists vary based on the instructor’s style. Hot Room
Happy Hour Yoga- Balance Yoga's Community Class is every Friday at 6:15pm. Taught by varying teachers in the community and from the studio, this class will feature an All Levels Yoga class that can be Vinyasa, Gentle, Hip Pop, Restorative or anything that strikes the mood. Grab your mat and be ready for what the Universe provides. This class is $5 CASH ONLY and separate from any package or series. Warm Room
Early Morning Class- Gently wake up the mind, then the body and nourish your spirit as you start your day with this slow flow class. Gentle and slow stretches will encourage the body and mind into its natural balance so you can take on the rest of your day strong, balanced and focused. Warm Room
Flow and Restore- This class blends elements of Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga to create a relaxed and restful state. Expect to move through warming Vinyasa sequences followed by Restorative postures (longer held poses meant to calm the nervous system) in an effort to relieve tension in the body and stress in the mind, prepping the body for a blissful ending Shavasana, YUM! Beginners Vinyasa- Do you want to try a Vinyasa class but are afraid to? This class is FOR YOU!!
Beginners Vinyasa will take you through a flow led by your breath providing deep exploration and alignment instruction. This class provides the students with the underlying basics of how a Vinyasa practice works. Great for beginners or those looking for more instruction. Normal Room Temp
Lunch Time Yoga- Take a break during your lunch hour for some Yoga. This class is just 45 minutes long, leaving you with enough time to get back to work. Gentle Flow and Warming stretches gets you re-energized for the rest of your day. Normal Room Temp
Meditation- This class offers guided meditation and stress relief techniques to help you eliminate stress, release negativity, heal and center yourself. Perfect class for All Levels of a meditation practice, beginners too! Normal Room Temp
Slow Flow- This yoga class focuses on a few poses and moves with control and strength through each one, allowing for the student to fine tune the alignment of the pose and coming into their full expression of each posture. New students benefit from having an attainable, slower paced class to truly commit to learning about each asana and experienced students get the benefit of deepening into their practice. Both students gain from an intense strength practice and well deserved release as we end with restorative rest. Warm Room
Prenatal Yoga- This class is designed to help women prepare their bodies for labor and delivery, as well as pre-conception. We strengthen the body with gentle vinyasa asanas and relax the body with calming restorative postures. Using breath work and visualization techniques help mommy-to-be develop essential tools to use throughout pregnancy and into their post-natal care. You do not need to have any yoga experience to begin prenatal yoga. This class is gentle for post-natal healing and for those who are dealing with injuries. Normal Temp Room
